Yucca Maineri is a Brazilian live electronic sound artist with a focus on immersive, interactive performance.
Miami-raised and LA-based, she studied Music Production & Neuroscience at the University of Southern California (USC), where she learned to code sounds from scratch and work as an audio engineer. Through both sound and visual art, she curates environments where technology, nature, and art converge.
APOLLA's music embodies an ethereal electronic sound, featuring activism-oriented lyrics that advocate for human rights and the environment. "Nature has always shown us that the true way to live is to sprawl out and immigrate" - APOLLA (Daily Trojan, March 2026)
APOLLA has performed at major EDM music festivals (Elements, Same Same But Different, etc.) across the United States, and locations in Los Angeles. She performs & produces in Ableton Live and uses Max (Cycling '74) & bioelectric MIDI to create sound + visual responsive patches.
Off-stage, Yucca restores and digitizes analog tape as an audio engineer at Audio Archiving Services Inc., working with clients like Sony, Disney, and other major labels/artists. She is also currently a mentor and artist for USC's Music Industry Organization, MISC.
